JOHNNY

                                            JOHNNY’S DREAM

It was another cold, rainy busy day in India. A young boy 16 of age named Johnny standing at the door as he watched how it rained and water pouring, flowing down the street as he feel the cold wind hitting his face. He asked himself thinking out loud “will my life ever to change for the better and live my dream” as he breathes deep Hhhhhhhhhhhh in wonder.

He closed his eyes and day dream seeing himself as an artist, famous rich man people taking his pictures and asking for autograph’s she was good at drawing. Johnny always sits outside and looked at the beautiful flowers and people walking down the street draws paintings of them. He even did an amazing family drawing of his small sister, Mrs. Jane his mother and himself.

He smiles as he day dream leaving in the moment, disappointment, sadness lies in his eyes as he opened them and realizing that he is leaving the poor life back to reality. He then walked into the house and went to his mother’s room opened the door in silence not to disturb and awake her. He stood there for a while as he looks at his sick mother, helplessly lying down on a hard cement bed, his little sister sitting crying of hunger in the kitchen, this broke his heart in pieces. Johnny knew he had to go out and look for money to bring home. He and his family live in a shack and they are very poor. They live like beggars ever since his mother suffered of stroke, Johnny had to be the man of the house as his father dead years back when he was 5 years old.

Walking down the street with his head facing down, as he keeps kicking a cool drink can, Johnny look side to side like a lost person walking in a neighborhood he never been, but something caught his attention on the other side of the road and he stopped and froze” OHU MY GOD THIS IS MY CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!!” he shouts while smiling. Across the road there was a board written” dreamed of being a famous drawing artist, this is your chance only N$ 5000.00 per year to enroll. The smile on Johnny’s face vanished, looking like a toilet paper being flashed down the toilet drain. “Were will I get that much money from?” asked Johnny in a small sad voice and walked away.

Kids across the road stared to cl him names, smelly boy, dirty pig hahahahahaha laughter and giggles. Johnny kept walking and ignored them, then he stopped, a tear fell from his eyes and said “why me” asked himself. He then sat down, took out a piece of paper and stared to draw a picture of himself as a well-dressed man in a suit standing in front of a Ferrari, footsteps of heels from behind  him knop!!!! and they stopped. It was a woman well-dressed; she looked like a million dollar. “Wow you are so good” said the woman while smiling, would u like to work for me? I own a museum and in will love to hang your paintings there. Johnny just stood there like a statue, so what do you say asked the lady. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa WOW!!! With excitement yes madam said Johnny. Here is my business card come over to my work place tomorrow and we continue from then. So the next morning he went to the lady’s office and he brought along some of his old paintings. The lady not only gave him a job but arranged an exhibition for him to sell his paintings and sighed a contract worth a fortune. He then bought everything he dreamed of and handled all the needs of his sister and managed to get proper treatment for his mother and build an art empire.
